This article contains a video explaining how to optimize the content in Blogely for SEO. Boosting SEO with Blogely involves two modules – Focus Keywords and Recommended Topics.
The FOCUS keyword option
A focus keyword SEO optimization strategy is based on the primary keyword you’re targeting in your blog post or article.
The ‘SEO focus keyword’ or ‘focus keyphrase’ is the keyword you want your article to rank for on Google.
Long-tail keywords are ideal for SEO. This means that the keyword should consist of three or more words.
You need to invest time in long-tail keywords for the following reasons:
- Ranking for long-tail keywords is easier.
- Long-tail keywords have low competition.
However, the monthly search volume is also low, so you’d better spend some time balancing search volume and competition.
RECOMMENDED topics option (SEO)
The Recommended Topics feature is a special text analysis technique that uses an extraction algorithm (also known as keyword recognition or keyword analysis) to identify the most important and frequently used words and phrases from a text. The tool helps you analyze the content of the top 10 competitors on a given topic and identify the most essential topics covered.

About term frequency inverse document frequency
TF*IDF is a formula that stands for “term frequency x inverse document frequency.”Basically, it is an indicator that measures the importance of a keyword phrase by comparing it to the denominator – the frequency of the term in a large set of documents (your competitors).
TF = (number of occurrences of a term in a document) / (total number of terms in the document).TF is a value that indicates the density of the keyword.IDF is the total number of documents/number of documents in which the term occurs.
The biggest advantage of TF-IDF is that you can enrich your keyword research by adding the keywords that people search for and keywords that Google says frequently appear in search results.
And that’s exactly how we did it at Blogely. To what extent this meets your needs, you can judge for yourself. We have developed our proprietary algorithm to guide SEO optimization properly. It’s called “Recommended Topics” under the SEO tab in this article.
The Blogely process
We use the same method to analyze the “competitors.” You can initialize this systematic algorithm if you click the “Get” button on the Recommended SEO Topics page.
In about 1-2 minutes, you will get these results with 50 topics that we created based on the latest SEPR Top10 analysis.
With this data, you can preview it in your article and work on optimizing the content by organically inserting topics (keywords) into the sentences.
This exercise aims to strike a balance between having your keywords and having an overabundance of topics.
